Omelette filled with chicken and celery in an orange sauce, all on a white plate with a green edge.

Buffalo Wing Omelette

The best and most classic bar snack of all time is now an omelette. But before you get too excited, there aren’t any actual wings in it. Then again, buffalos don’t have wings either.

(Yes. I know what the Buffalo refers to)

This is another one that is a perfect way to use up some leftover chicken (or turkey) and satisfy that craving for wings without leaving the house.

This is all about the filling. Make the physical omelette in any style you like.

Amounts are not exact, just suggestions. These recipes are general guidelines roughly aimed towards single egg, individual portions unless otherwise mentioned. Adjust as necessary. Play around. Have fun.

Season everything to taste with salt and pepper.

Disclaimer: Though unlikely, eating undercooked eggs can cause illness.

  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Butter
  • 1/4 cup Chicken, shredded
  • Frank’s Red Hot sauce (or your favourite wing sauce)
  • 1 tbsp Bleu Cheese, crumbled
  • 1/8 cup Celery Leaves, roughly chopped
  • Green Onions
  • Salt & Pepper
  1. Mix shredded chicken with enough hot sauce to coat. The amount is entirely up to you. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Make omelette in any style you want, fill with chicken mixture, bleu cheese and celery.
  3. Top with green onions to serve.
