Zoom Out

When we’re having a bad time we often consider it the overall state of our lives. A time of stress or anxiety can cause us to believe we’re failing at life.

These feelings are powerful and can skew our perspective.

But zoom out a little and look at the rest of your day. Often these moments are just a blink in an otherwise fine existence.

If the day as a whole was bumpy, look at the week.

For most of us, in most cases, things are generally ok.

Maybe not great, but rarely as bad as we think they are in the moment.
