Walking

I’ve heard a lot recently about how much simply walking can increase creativity. I’ve tried a few times in the past but haven’t noticed much change.

Perhaps I tried too hard. Or I was distracting myself with an audiobook or podcast.

As I understand, the idea is to walk with no distractions. No headphones, just you and your thoughts. A walking meditation of sorts without any directed focus.

I’ll be trying this over the coming weeks and months as part of my 2024 habit stack. Since a significant part of this year involves creative work, I want to take every step I can to get the juices flowing.

Now, if only I could do something about the weather…
