Don’t sweat the small stuff.
It’s a well-shared piece of life advice. Take it easy, shake it off. There are enough big things in life to worry about.
Relax.
The logic is sound. Why waste your precious time and energy on the inevitable minor issues that will soon come to pass.
The problem is that we only have so much bandwidth. We’re only capable of mentally handling so many things at any given time.
The “small stuff” to one person might be the final straw for another. What you consider a minor inconvenience could be the last in a long series of misfortunes for someone else.
We all have a breaking point.
Our distance from it determines what stuff we consider small.
