It’s been raining on and off for the last couple of weeks. The trails are sticky and wet — and it’s poor etiquette to ruin trails by rutting them up while they’re so soft.

Yet as much as I wanted to get on the bike and ride, I asked for this. The rain is so desperately needed.

And I’m willing to sacrifice a few days of riding if it means extinguishing the current wildfires and preventing those that may come.
