I couldn’t sleep this morning — around 5am I was restless. And rather than tossing around in bed, I went for a walk.
I spend a lot of time outside in the early morning when I run, but I usually listen to music. I don’t hear the sounds of the city.

Walking down one of the busiest streets in the city, before the city wakes up, is a fascinating experience. With nothing more than the crunch of snow beneath my feet, the otherwise chaotic surroundings are a place of peace.
Before the world rolls in, even the busiest place is a haven of peace and calm.
