Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millenials, Gen z, Gen alpha.
Depending on when you were born, you fit into one of these groups. And because of our shared experiences — at least in the West — each group is culturally unique to the others.
Lines blur, of course. Nothing is black and white. But generally speaking, Boomers have a particular mentality and outlook that differs significantly from millennials. Gen X’ers contrast equally to those of Gen Z.
I find this so fascinating. How social and geopolitical events, and scientific and technological progress, can shape the behavioural structure of an entire generation.
