We all do stupid shit.
We say silly things, do awkward things, stammer our words on a first encounter and generally make all kinds of low-key human errors on a regular basis.
Looking back, we cringe at these moments thinking about how badly we embarrassed ourselves.
But how many of these same moments can you remember of your family, friends, or co-workers?
I’ll guess hardly any, if at all. Am I close?
So why do we cringe so hard at our own missteps? If we don’t think of the tiny mistakes of people who make them around us every single day, why would it go the other way?
We’re human. We all are.
Stop worrying about that time you stumbled over your words during a presentation.
Nobody remembers. And on in the rare cases that they do, they certainly don’t care.
