To add on to yesterday’s post about filling my spare time, I feel the need to clarify what I mean. The trouble with posting daily is that I often find myself rushed to ship the work and leave out the context which might give the wrong impression.
When I talk of my inability to stop and relax, it’s not because I am some productivity-obsessed workaholic. It’s true that much of my time is spent attempting to make progress of sorts, but not always.
I fill my spare time with everything from riding bikes and going to the gym, to organizing my office, journalling nonsense and experimenting in the kitchen.
The key is that when spare time arises, I will always find something to fill it. Boredom doesn’t exist in my world.
The problem is that sometimes, I wish it would.
