Last Day

I ate a lot of trash food today. I’ll probably eat some more before the end of the night.

I don’t often do this, but tomorrow marks the start of my annual clean eating month. So, while none of what I consumed today was necessary, I justified it because I won’t allow myself any of it for the next four weeks.

The sugar will probably affect my sleep, and I will probably start the month feeling groggy. However, I know how incredible I will feel in just a few short days.

And starting a month of self-improvement with a baseline lower than normal will only encourage my efforts.

Right?
