February

February is my January.

The other day I mentioned how January tends to be a bit of a low point for me. Part of the reason is because I don’t do resolutions, so I lack the motivation that kick-starts the year for others.

February, on the other hand, is different.

For the last few years, I’ve made February the month where I put a significant emphasis on health. I eat an incredibly clean diet, and spend a ton of time working on my body and mind. It’s a nice reset after the holiday slack.

Given the resulting energy levels that I feel, I tend to go into hyper-focus mode on all kinds of different projects. Sometimes this is a good thing, other times it’s an absolute waste. But it’s never dull, and it typically sets the vibe for the rest of my year.

Whatever happens over the next four weeks, things will be different by the end.
