Curiosity is my motivation for almost every important thing I’ve ever done.
I don’t think I’ve written about this subject, which is odd because I think about it often.
What I haven’t thought about is that this isn’t a common theme. A nagging curiosity doesn’t seem to be a common trait — at least not with many adults. If it is, most don’t seem to act on it.
I’m addicted to learning and experiencing new things. My curiosity has driven me to completely change careers, to get out of my comfort zone, and to visit strange places all over the world. It inspired me to explore creative paths, to learn new skills, hone them and leverage them towards another transition.
It’s led me to experiments that brought about lifestyle changes — shifts that ultimately bettered my body and mind.
Curiosity drove me to start this blog, it pushed me to this daily practice. And it’s pushing me towards even more endeavours to come.
Curiosity is the fuel that moves me.
And I can’t stay still.
