100 Days

100 days is a long time.

It’s a line I heard on a podcast this afternoon. And while the number isn’t specific to this post, it reminded me of another quote:

“We overestimate what we can do in a day, but underestimate what we can do in a year.”

This is something that hits close to home. I always put too much on my to-do list, and rarely do I get through it all. This often leads to frustration and self-criticism at the end of the day.

But when I look back at everything I’ve accomplished over the last month or quarter, I’m often blown away by the progress.

When striving towards a goal, we often pressure ourselves for short-term results that are often impossible to achieve.

The reality is that consistency over time is almost always the solution.

100 days of consistent work can produce spectacular results.
