It hits many people hard, they’re often shamed and criticized for their actions or comments — however innocent they might have been. Most people wish that it hadn’t happened and only pray for their notoriety to go away.

But not Hailey.

Hailey Welch — better known as the Hawk Tuah girl — has embraced her sudden rise to fame. And she’s killing it.

Instead of running away from the moment that gave her notoriety, she went all in. Through personal branding, a product line, and personal appearances, she’s likely earned well over $100,000 over the past few weeks.

Normally I wouldn’t care about some random internet star having their 15 minutes of fame, but Hailey seems different. Maybe she’s just a good actress, but it looks as though she’s just a regular person who is trying to make the most of a moment.

Maybe it’s just a breath of fresh air to see internet fame fall on one of the normies rather than some rich pseudo-celebrity.

And it looks like her 15 minutes may turn into a few more.

While many of us would hide from the public eye had our drunken comment gone so viral, she said “Fuck it, love it or hate it, this is me.”

And people are loving it.
