I think I’ve written about this before. I don’t recall the concept and don’t have the time to go through the archives. I’m too scatterbrained for that sort of focus.

Regardless of how unique we live, whether we choose non-conformity or the norm, we still expect certain constants. Whether we take a stoic approach and prepare for the worst, or live obliviously to what may come — the unexpected is inevitable, and often brutal.

Though as cliche as it sounds, the unexpected is one of the only true constants.

And when the brutality of it inevitably comes, all you can do is accept it.
