Patience

“What am I supposed to do, just sit around and wait?”

We’ve all said this in one form or another. When you’ve reached that frustrating point of realization that you’ve done all that you can do in a given situation. That the ball is now in the other court.

When you’re stuck in traffic, awaiting test results or a call back from a job application — when your vehicle is at the mechanic. The agony of merely waiting is an itch you can’t scratch.

Patience is a skill few of us ever master. Most of us are amateurs at best.

But it changes nothing.

There will always be some situation where you ask yourself that question.

And the answer will be a harsh but honest yes.
