I’ve done a fair bit of travelling. People often make the assumption that I’ve “seen the world.” And I suppose I have; parts of it at least, when compared to most people.

But when looking at what there actually is to see, I’ve seen little more than anyone else.

To know how much of the physical world I’ve seen, compare the number of countries in the world to those I’ve set foot on. I’ve been to few.

Put my tracks on a map, I’ve seen even less.

It’s why I’m always hungry for more.
